The Under Construction demonstrations are a very special moment of presentation by individual artists and companies that reveal a first phase of their personal research. The aim is that these artists can confront the first stage of their research with an accomplice audience.

After the demonstration, a conversation takes place between the artists and the audience in order to open up and stimulate observation of the work presented and reflection on the work itself.

Under Construction takes place once every month and a half or every two months, on Thursday afternoons. Artists interested in participating must contact the artistic coordination of La Central: coordinacioart@lacentraldelcirc.cat

Les taules de diàleg i intercanvi de l’Espai d’Acompanyament estan dinamitzades per un/a professional del sector i dirigidies a artistes i companyies de circ emergents. Les participants estan convidades a compartir els seusconeixements i dubtes.

Des de la comissió de mediació de la Central del Circ, engeguem el projecte Grada 10, un espai de diàleg i reflexió sobre les pràctiques del circ contemporani. 

Pe dur-lo a terme es vol formar un grup d’espectadores actives que se submergirà en un procés de coneixement i pràctica de processos creatius de circ contemporani. Visualitzarem peces d’autoria d’artistes residents a La Central del Circ, en diferents fases de creació.

Aquest espai està dirigit a persones vinculades al Barri del Besòs-Maresme.

Les Trobades Obertes son mòduls de formació d’un dia en els quals s’aborda un tema o concepte des de diferents punts de vista.

‘Improvisation tools and technical application’

The workshop, for professional circus artists, will take place from 3 to 10 July, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 2.30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m., in La Central del Circ.

La companyia Gatillo Culón amb els i les alumnes de l’Institut Martí Pous faran una mostra final del seu procés de creació el 6 de juny, a les 18h, a la Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació, en el marc de la 14a edició d’EN RESiDÈNCiA.

Gatillo Culón, amb la mediació de La Central del Circ, ha acompanyat entre els mesos de setembre 2022 i juny 2023 un grup d’alumnes de l’Institut Martí Pous, que han creat la peça ‘Crec que això és una mica estrany‘, que parla sobre les pors i els conflictes interns.

L’accés és lliure.

Sergi Romaní és fisioterapeuta, acondicionador físic i investigador a Functional Anatomy Group, treballa a Movement Lab BCN, i té àmplia experiència com a entrenador.

En les seves sessions hi haurà un apartat d’escalfament en què es treballarà la mobilitat, tant global com més analítica; sempre dependrà de les necessitats. Hi haurà també una estona dedicada a l’activació i un component més neural, i per últim s’integrarà a través de certs exercicis tot el treballat anteriorment sobre la mobilitat i l’activació.

Un cop finalitzat l’escalfament,  es duran a terme dos o tres blocs de força. Cada bloc constarà de tres exercicis explicats prèviament i en què es treballarà de forma autònoma amb la supervisió de Sergi Romani, que ajudarà a tothom a qui ho necessiti per intentar individualitzar al màxim l’entrenament.

Finalment hi haurà un apartat final d’uns 10 minuts, més metabòlic, on es treballarà un component més aeròbic.

La Central del Circ acollirà els dies 12 i 13 de juny les mostres finals dels processos duts a terme durant aquest curs, de setembre 2022 a juny de 2023, dins el programa artístic i educatiu Caixa d’Eines. Les dues mostres tindran lloc a la Sala Posada en Escena.

Open call for La Mercè 2023,  fodestinada a companyies de circ professionals.

We are going to select two projects, that can be presented in approximately 20 minutes each, or a single project of 45-50 minutes. The dates of the shows will be 23 and 24 September.

Dimarts 20 de juny s’inaugura ‘Nus’ al Centre Cívic Sant Martí, una exposició fruit de la col·laboració entre Marissa Paituví, investigadora i creadora, i la fotògrafa Marta Garcia Cardellach, amb el suport de La Central del Circ.

El Festival Grec organitza l’activitat ‘Prenem alguna cosa’, una xerrada entre professionals del circ amb en Dani i el Pepjin Ronaldo de la companyia Circus Ronaldo, dinamitzada pel periodista Oriol Puig Taulé. L’activitat serà el 21 de juliol, a les 12.30h, als Jardins del Teatre Grec, i en farà en anglès.

La inscripció està oberta per a persones sòcies de l’APCC i persones usuàries de La Central del Circ amb quota anual (aforament màxim de 20 persones) a través d’aquest formulari. La data límit per inscriure’s és el 16 de juliol i el 17 confirmarem les places a través d’un correu electrònic.

La Central del Circ obre una convocatòria per seleccionar l’equip d’artistes de circ que formarà part del programa Caixa d’Eines, de Pla de Barris, durant el curs 2023/24. Les persones seleccionades desenvoluparan un procés de creació comunitària a diverses escoles de primària i en un institut de secundària del barri el Besòs i el Maresme.

Each block will consist of three exercises explained in advance and in which you will work independently with the supervision of Sergi Romani, who will help everyone who needs it to try to individualize the training as much as possible.

Finally, there will be a final section of about 10 minutes, more metabolic, where a more aerobic component will be worked on.
