Open Registration for the Training Workshop ‘The Distribution of a Circus Show,’ part of the Knowledge Transfer and Professionalization Program within the ‘360º Support Circuit’ initiative (Circus Promotion Plan), led by La Central del Circ in partnership with the Rogelio Rivel Circus Arts Center.

This third training session in the program, scheduled for Thursday, December 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at La Central del Circ, will focus on distribution.

When does the distribution process begin? How and where should you look for performance opportunities? What strategy should be established depending on the show you want to distribute? What are the essential tools for carrying out distribution work? The goal of this workshop is not to train professional distributors but to equip participants with basic knowledge and tools to temporarily manage this task until they can work with a distribution specialist.

This workshop is aimed at emerging contemporary circus artists based in Catalonia.

Program

• 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: ‘Distributing a Show: Strategy and Tools,’ led by Alba Espinasa from the Catalan Performing Arts Distributors Collective (CDAEC).
• 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: ‘Circuits for Circus in Catalonia and Spain,’ with Ave Amigó from Gala Produccions.
• 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.: Distribution Practice. Workshop guided by distributors Ave Amigó (Gala Produccions) and Alina Ventura (La Maleta dels Espectacles).
