Open call – Program to support research and creation, Transits 2024

We open a call for the new edition for the Program to support research and creation of La Central del Circ, Transits 2024.

This call for applications divides the residencies offered by La Central de Circ into different formats or creation transits based on two main areas:

• RESEARCH TRANSITS focused on research and/or experimentation, with two research residency formats: Essential and Fundamental.
• CREATION TRANSITS aimed at companies and groups that are currently at the start, middle or end of a creative process, with three residency formats: Dramaturgical Guidance, In Studio/In Production and E.S.T.!.
• MOBILITY TRANSITS aimed at companies or groups that are in the middle or at the end of a creative process, so they can complete a residency at one of two European creative centres:

• • 1) La Cascade Pôle National du Cirque, in Bourg-Saint-Andéol (France).
  • 2) The Arts Printing House, in Vilnius (Lithuania).

Each category is conceived as a creative stage and responds to the needs occasioned by the various moments in a project’s development.

Residencies will take place between January and December 2024. The dates will be decided with the companies depending on the availability of spaces. (ATTENTION! La Central del Circ does not provide accommodations for resident companies).
