La Côte Folle will present the show ‘Entre bous i vaque’s as part of La Mercè 2025, within the CirCulem program

The company La Côte Folle will present the show Entre bous i vaques as part of the Festes de La Mercè Arts de Carrer 2025, within the CirCulem program.

In this piece, the collective proposes —through acrobatic lifts and dance— a stage narrative about memory, forgetfulness, old age, dementia, and the passage of time, inspired by real anecdotes and testimonies. A journey through the memories of a brain in ruins, between sensitivity and humor.

CirCulem is an initiative born from the commitment of several sector agents to promote street circus pieces and accompany them in their creative process up to performance.

This project, created in 2024, arises from the collaboration between La Central del Circ (Barcelona), as a creation center, and several exhibition spaces —Festes de La Mercè Arts de Carrer (Barcelona), Fira de Circ al Carrer de la Bisbal d’Empordà, La Palanca, festival de circ contemporani (Esparreguera), and Fira Trapezi (Reus)—, with the aim of energizing public space as an artistic stage and reaffirming its role in citizen participation, diversity, and social cohesion. Later, Circpicat, festival de circ i arts en viu (Alpicat, Lleida) and L’Estruch; Fàbrica de Creació de les Arts en Viu (Sabadell) also joined.
