Arriba la 10a edició de la Trobada de mans-mans de La Central del Circ. Un espai perquè els i les artistes d’aquesta disciplina tinguin l’oportunitat de viure uns dies intensius on desenvolupar, pensar i practicar en col·lectiu el seu treball.

From 2 to 4 October, with a previous activity on 29th of September, the 7 edition of Dramaturgy and Stage Writing Exchange Days will take place. Three days of talks, reflection tables and workshops around the circus dramaturgy.

On October 3, from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., will take place the third Open Meeting of Espai d’Acompanyament, ‘How do I write a piece of circus?’, with Roberto Magro, aimed at emerging creators and circus artists or those who are working on their first creations.

L’11 d’octubre, de 12h-14h, tindrà lloc la 6a i última taula de diàleg de l’edició d’enguany de l’Espai d’Acompanyament: “Portar un projecte”, amb Ingrid Esperanza Berman (Haa Collective).

S’obre una convocatòria per seleccionar els/les artistes que participaran en el nou Laboratori d’Experimentació Col·lectiva (L.E.C.) amb Vivian Friedrich, que tindrà lloc a La Central del Circ del 13 al 17 de novembre.

El laboratori s’impartirà en castellà i està dirigit a artistes de circ professionals.

It is open the call for the next Artist Workshop, ‘Degrowth and Contemporary Circus Practice’, by Antonia Kuzmanić. The workshop, intended for professional circus artists, will take place from 27 November to 1 December 2023, from 10 am to 13 pm and from 2.30 pm to 5.30 pm, at La Central del Circ.

Every Wednesday, from 10.30am to 11.30am, the Coffee meeting takes place in the common kitchen area of La Central del Circ.

Trobada formativa ‘La producció d’un espectacle de circ’, dins el Programa de Transmissió de Coneixement i Professionalització, de la mesura ‘Circuit d’Acompanyament 360º’ (Pla d’Impuls del Circ), que La Central del Circ lidera juntament amb el Centre de les Arts del Circ Rogelio Rivel.

Dedicada a l’exploració de diferents aspectes de la creació d’un espectacle: la necessitat de tenir una figura jurídica, la planificació, l’elaboració del dossier i del pressupost, la recerca de complicitats i la complexitat de doble rol de creador/a-productor/a.

Dirigida a artistes emergents de circ contemporani, establerts de Catalunya.

On October 11, 12, and 13, 2024, the 12th edition of the Hand-to-Hand Meeting at La Central del Circ will take place. This event offers professionals in this discipline the opportunity to share three days of practice and exchange.

The training room will be closed due to the celebration of the 12th edition of the Hands-Hands Meeting (fully booked).

Dialogue Table ‘Humanitarian Aid from the Performing Arts,’ with Jaume Mateu “Tortell Poltrona” and Montse Trias, as part of the 360º Accompaniment Circuit of the Circus Promotion Plan (2023-2026).

Jaume Mateu and Montse Trias, founders of Circ Cric, Clowns Without Borders, and other artistic and humanitarian ventures, will share their decades of experience bringing the circus to places where it rarely reaches, generating a dialogue on the artist’s commitment to society and the world.

How can we bring art, and performing arts, to those who do not have access? What motivates some artists to move and perform for people who cannot experience live arts? War or disaster situations, geographical or social isolation: there are many and too many reasons why certain people or communities cannot access art.

The dialogue and exchange tables of the 360º Accompaniment Circuit are informal spaces for exchanging experiences around artistic issues, knowledge, and questions, led by established artists and companies.

Targeted at emerging contemporary circus artists based in Catalonia.

Registrations will be on a first-come, first-served basis (maximum 20 people).

The Under Construction demonstrations are a very special moment of presentation by individual artists and companies that reveal a first phase of their personal research. The aim is that these artists can confront the first stage of their research with an accomplice audience.

After the demonstration, a conversation takes place between the artists and the audience in order to open up and stimulate observation of the work presented and reflection on the work itself. Under Construction takes place once every month and a half or every two months, on Thursday afternoons.

We will hold space to share visions, proposals and learn more about different aspects of the center and its operation.
