On Thursday, February 5, at 12:00 pm, the dialogue roundtable “360º Creator” will take place at La Central del Circ, featuring Jordi Oriol, as part of the 3rd edition of the 360º Accompaniment Programme of the Pla d’Impuls del Circ de Catalunya (2023–2026).

The dialogue roundtables are spaces for close, informal exchange, designed to share experiences, reflections, and knowledge around artistic matters. They are facilitated by artists and companies with well-established careers.

An actor, musician, playwright, and stage director, Jordi Oriol has a long, rich, and multifaceted career in both theatre and music. He has also collaborated on several occasions with circus artists. On this occasion, we invite you to engage in dialogue with him about creative processes, writing, and dramaturgy.

About Jordi Oriol

A graduate in Stage Direction and Playwriting from the Institut del Teatre (Extraordinary Award, 2007), Jordi Oriol has written and directed more than twenty theatrical productions. Among the most notable are Sísif fa no fa (2023) and Europa Bull (2019), his most recent works. Some of his plays have been staged by other directors, such as L’Empestat (2015) and La Mala Dicció (2021), directed by Xavier Albertí, and Reiterat Rei Tarat (2024), directed by Nao Albet.

He has collaborated on the dramaturgy of the productions Travy and Gola, by Oriol Pla and Pau Matas, as well as on various projects by choreographer Lali Ayguadé, including Inestable, her upcoming creation, which will premiere at the TNC next March.

In the field of circus, he has worked on dramaturgy with Mumusic Circus (Lady Panda) and Circ Circ (Què bèstia!). He has also directed and staged concerts of various kinds, ranging from classical music to popular music and song.

Awarded on several occasions since 2011, in 2025 he received the Premi Crítica Serra d’Or for Performing Arts as Best Creator.
