New open call – Trànsits 2026 Residency Programme, supported by the “Barcelona Crea Grants – Creation Factories”

La Central del Circ is opening a new call to take part in the Trànsits 2026 research and creation support programme. Three “Barcelona Crea Grants – Creation Factories” are offered: two in the research and cross-residency modality and one in the thinking modality. The aim of these grants is to promote experimentation processes prior to creation.

This call is aimed at:

• Emerging or established artists.

• Artists who maintain a relationship with the city of Barcelona or its metropolitan area. This must be accredited with at least one of the following points:

  • The purpose of the proposal is related to the city of Barcelona or its metropolitan area.

  • The candidate person or entity resides in the city of Barcelona or its metropolitan area.

  • The candidate person or entity is connected to the cultural fabric of Barcelona or its metropolitan area.

The residencies will take place between January and December 2026. Dates will be set with the companies based on their availability and that of the spaces. (ATTENTION! La Central del Circ does not provide accommodation for resident companies).
