Dialogue roundtable “360º Creator” will take place at La Central del Circ, featuring Jordi Oriol, as part of the 3rd edition of the 360º Accompaniment Programme of the Pla d’Impuls del Circ de Catalunya (2023–2026).

La Central del Circ obre una convocatòria per seleccionar tres artistes de circ que participaran en la reactivació històrica d’El veí del balcó (Circ Perillós, 1994), un espectacle de teatre acrobàtic situat en un balcó. El projecte s’emmarca en el programa Interrupcions, l’acció central de difusió de l’Arxiu Viu de Circ, una de les mesures del Pla d’Impuls del Circ de Catalunya (2023–2026).

P.L.A.T. event will take place, led by Cie. Le Polpesse, currently in residence at La Central del Circ as part of EKO – Pirineus de Circ.

On this occasion, we will be able to see the stage proposal Attention à ta tête, born from the desire of three jugglers to look at this discipline from a new perspective: to set aside the frustration of mistakes and celebrate the beauty of imperfection.

This show is the result of the creative residency carried out at L’Estruch, within the framework of the 360º Support Circuit initiative of the Plan for the Promotion of Circus in Catalonia (2023–2026).

Under the direction of Mai Rojas, we will see circus techniques such as straps, Chinese pole, acrodance, juggling, balancing, and aerial hoop.

Performers: Ili and Júlia (Ratafria Company), Lau Rojas, Luana Guerra, Maika Faimberg, Irene Martínez, Eladio Sánchez, and Hugo Fontourcy.

The European program Circusnext has launched a new call for projects to identify and support emerging circus creators across Europe. Its main goal is to nurture and stimulate the development of new generations of creative spirits in the circus sector, encouraging them to experiment and challenge current artistic boundaries. This open call is aimed at emerging artists who are currently developing a new circus creation.

Artist Workshop “Circussing and Circography”, led by artist and choreographer Alexander Vantournhout.
This workshop offers a space for reflection and discussion around circus practice: how does circus function today, and how could it function? Starting from these questions, participants will explore different ways of understanding and rethinking this artistic language.

El dijous 26 de març, de 12h a 14h, a La Central del Circ, tindrà lloc la taula de diàleg Solo ma non solo, amb Manel Rosés, en el marc de la 3a edició del Circuit d’Acompanyament 360º del Pla d’Impuls del Circ de Catalunya (2023-2026).

Online roundtable on circus dramaturgy will take place as part of P.O.N.T_CIRK. This initiative, led by the International Contemporary Circus Market (MICC), Fira Trapezi and La Central del Circ, aims to question, rethink, and strengthen the language of contemporary circus between Catalonia and Quebec, establishing a creative bridge between the two regions.

On April 8 at 8:00 p.m., at Antic Teatre, the premiere of La Concha de tu Madre Cabaret will take place: a 75-minute show featuring four artistic acts linked together by a master of ceremonies. The pieces are performed by guest circus artists who are currently going through the process of motherhood.

La Central del Circ hosts the presentation of the participatory research project 1000 Faces, by the German circus and dance company Overhead Project, within the framework of MERIDIAN(s) Catalonia–Germany 2026, part of the internationalization measure of the Catalonia Circus Promotion Plan (2023–2026).

Trobada formativa ‘Es pot crear sense memòria?’, en el marc del programa de Transmissió de Coneixement i Professionalització del Circuit d’Acompanyament 360º, una mesura del Pla d’Impuls del Circ de Catalunya liderada pel Centre de les Arts del Circ Rogelio Rivel i La Central del Circ.

The 1st edition of the Hair Suspension Gathering is a proposal conceived as a space for meeting and community among artists who practice this discipline. Over the course of two days, participants will share experiences, exchange knowledge, and open up questions to continue expanding awareness around a practice that engages the body, sensitivity, and care.
