On March 15th, at 7:30 PM, AKí will take place at the Sant Martí Auditorium, a circus show featuring emerging artists from the Centre de les Arts del Circ Rogelio Rivel and La Central del Circ.

With performances by Aloïs Boyer, Amaia Leoz, Daniel Blázquez, Michael Picard, Luana Flores, Shaïmâa Benkirane, Marine de Grandmaison, and Maria de la Parra, with staging by Cia. Voël.

This event is part of the 360º Accompaniment Circuit of the 2nd Circus Promotion Plan (2023-2026).

On Thursday, March 20th, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, the first edition of P.L.A.T will take place, in collaboration with circusnext. On this occasion, we will have the opportunity to see a small performance preview of the HERTZ project by Cie. Dissociée.

The event is free of charge, with prior registration. A vegan dish will be served free of charge to all attendees.

On Friday, April 11, at 8:00 PM, a new T.E.S.T.! showcase will take place at La Central del Circ. This time, we will see the presentation of ‘Miss SBarbie’ by artist Morgana Morandi.

On Thursday, May 15th at 5 p.m., in the Performance Hall, there will be a presentation of the community creation process that has taken place over the past few months at La Central del Circ, with the company Nongratos Teatro and a group of participants from the Joia Foundation.

On Thursday, May 29, from 7 PM to 11 PM, a new event from P.L.A.T will take place, led by artist Arrel Guevara, currently in residence at La Central del Circ as part of the Trànsits 2025 research and creation support program.

At La Central del Circ, we join the strike on Wednesday, October 15th, as a collective act of resistance and solidarity with the Palestinian people. We believe that culture cannot remain indifferent in the face of injustice. For this reason, the facility will be closed for the entire day.

The P.L.A.T scheduled for next Thursday, October 16, with the “eia” Circus Company at La Central del Circ has been postponed to Tuesday, December 16, due to an accident involving one of the artists.
Although it’s not serious, they require some recovery time, which makes it impossible to continue rehearsals.

La Central del Circ participates once again in the program ‘Cultura al barri’, part of Pla de Barris. This year, it presents the show Melic, by the company If Circus.

On Thursday, November 20th, at 7 p.m., a new proposal from P.L.A.T will take place, presented by Cía. Croma and Luis Mantilla, in residence at La Central del Circ as part of the Iberescena program.

On this occasion, we will be able to see a short excerpt from two works in progress: “Alguna vez fui” by Cía. Croma, and “Vestigios” by Luis Mantilla.

This edition, curated by artist and dramaturg Antonia Kuzmanić, will feature a wide participation of international speakers such as Agathe Dumont, Ivana Vukóvić, and Gaia Vimercati, among others. Catalan artists like Júlia Campistany and Clàudia Mirambell (Eléctrico28) will also take part.
