Cia. Víspera and Elis Valente, among the 12 finalists of Circusnext 2024

This week they announce the 12 Finalists of Circusnext 2024. Among the finalists, there are two projectes from the Spanish Selection: ‘Fragmentos’, from Cia. Víspera (made up of the artists Vinka Delgado and Diego Hernando), and ‘Tension’, from Elis Valente.

These two projects, together with the finalists from the other countries, will receive a €3,000 grant, accompaniment and residencies at circusnext’s European partners venues.

The artists will take part in the Selection of Laureates at the Théâtre de la Cité internationale (Paris) in May 2024.

Circusnext is a project led by the French association Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe (JTCE) thanks to the support of the Creative Europe program. Since its creation in 2017, this network of more than 20 partners has been working at the European level to give visibility to unique emerging artists, offering residencies and exhibitions. La Central has been a member since November 2019.
