Open registrations for P.L.A.T on June 18 with Cie. Suspendu

Shows
2026

On Thursday, June 18 at 7 p.m., a new P.L.A.T. proposal will take place, led by Cie. Suspendu, in residency at La Central del Circ as part of the Circusnext program.

On this occasion, we will dive into Cie. Suspendu’s current project, AMOW, a piece that follows a passive inhabitant trapped in their own illusions. AMOW, a mythical force, transforms their comfort into a nightmare, dragging them between waking and dreaming. Black cables, light bulbs, and suspended furniture without walls expose the inner workings of the house. The set becomes a possessed mechanism. Through aerial straps and hair suspension, the artist’s body becomes the threshold between structure and void, intertwining circus, contemporary puppetry, and rigging design.

Danny Tavori (Cie. Suspendu) is a contemporary circus artist specializing in straps and hair suspension. Initially trained in mathematics, he later studied at FLIC (Turin), the MFA in Contemporary Circus Practices at DOCH (Stockholm), and the FOCON program at Esacto’Lido. His interdisciplinary work moves between minimalism and saturation, always rooted in physical practice and a mystical approach to matter and technology.

P.L.A.T (Free, Artistic and Transformative Practice)

P.L.A.T (Free, Artistic and Transformative Practice) is an open space where companies and artists in residency at La Central del Circ have the opportunity to share, experiment, and test their creative processes, fostering exchange and dialogue with both specialised and general audiences.

The aim is to create a space of freedom and innovation that allows people to approach the artist’s universe through whatever format or proposal they choose, without the need to present a finished stage piece.

Capacity depends on each artist’s proposal, with a maximum of 100 people. The event is intended to take place monthly or every two months, on Thursdays from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
