Open registrations for the P.L.A.T with Cia. La Bel·Bel, Jordi Cortés and Fundació Joia

Shows
2026

On Thursday, May 21 at 7 pm, a new edition of P.L.A.T. will take place, where we will present Boxing, Cells and Other Stories, the outcome of the community creation process carried out by Cia. La Bel·Bel and dancer and choreographer Jordi Cortés together with a group of participants from Fundació Joia, as part of Trànsits 2026 and with the support of the Barcelona Crea Grants.

Through circus and dance, the project works with memories, recollections and fragments: intimate and shared stories that appear, disappear and are reassembled, like cells in constant transformation. It is a collective research process in which the body becomes a living archive. Memory is the red thread running through the creation: what remains inscribed in the body, what persists, what fragments and rewrites itself.

Boxing, Cells and Other Stories highlights collective creation as a space for encounter, listening and expression.

P.L.A.T (Free, Artistic and Transformative Practice)

P.L.A.T (Free, Artistic and Transformative Practice) is an open space where companies and artists in residence at La Central del Circ have the opportunity to share, experiment, and test their creative processes, fostering exchange and dialogue with the audience.

The activity is free of charge, with prior registration required, and includes a meal prepared by a local organisation or one linked to La Central del Circ, strengthening connections with the local environment and promoting an inclusive and participatory space.

Capacity depends on each artist’s proposal, with a maximum of 100 people. It takes place monthly or every two months, on Thursdays at 7 pm.
