2026

On Thursday, 26 February, at 7:00 pm, a new P.L.A.T. event will take place, led by Cie. Le Polpesse, currently in residence at La Central del Circ as part of EKO – Pirineus de Circ.

On this occasion, we will be able to see the stage proposal Attention à ta tête, born from the desire of three jugglers to look at this discipline from a new perspective: to set aside the frustration of mistakes and celebrate the beauty of imperfection.

The show combines juggling, antipodism and movement to explore new forms of manipulation, far from traditional juggling. The objects —100 balls, 11 clubs and 12 tentacles— are caught with hands and feet. Bodies blend with the juggling and the juggling with the bodies, creating the sensation that the objects multiply while the bodies disappear. All of this unfolds in the confined space of a bathtub.

La Polpesse is a company made up of three antipodist jugglers: Cecilia Zucchetti, Francesca Fioraso and Gioia Santori, trained in Turin, Madrid and Chambéry. Born from the desire to play, share their juggling practice and reflect on the discipline, the company seeks to create a common language to express themselves on stage.

Attention à ta tête is the winning show of Le Cirque Portatif 2025, a project produced by La Verrerie d’Alès, Pôle National Cirque Occitanie, which supports small-format creations with minimal scenography and technical requirements, with the aim of enabling them to tour rural and non-equipped spaces.

The show also receives support from EKO – Pirineus de Circ, a European cross-border cooperation project co-funded by the ERDF and the Interreg-POCTEFA programme.

P.L.A.T. (Free, Artistic and Transformative Practice)

P.L.A.T. (Free, Artistic and Transformative Practice) is an open space where companies and artists in residence at La Central del Circ have the opportunity to share, experiment and test their creative processes, encouraging exchange and dialogue with both specialist and general audiences.

The aim is to create a space of freedom and innovation that allows people to get closer to the artist’s universe through whatever proposal or format is chosen, without the need to present a stage piece.

The activity is free, with prior registration, and includes a meal prepared by a local neighbourhood organisation or one linked to La Central del Circ, strengthening the connection with the local environment and promoting an inclusive and participatory space.

Capacity will depend on each artist’s proposal, with a maximum of 100 people. The idea is for the event to take place every month or every two months, on Thursdays, from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
