Statement: Temporary Absence of the Artistic Coordination at La Central del Circ

At La Central del Circ, we would like to share with you an unexpected situation affecting our artistic coordinator, Víctor Bobadilla. Due to legal and administrative reasons related to the Immigration Regulations, Víctor has been forced to temporarily step down from his position. We trust that this unforeseen situation, beyond our control, will be resolved as soon as possible.

It is expected that he will be able to return in the coming weeks and continue performing his duties until June 2025, when his contract ends. In the meantime, the management team at La Central del Circ is taking over, to the extent possible, the corresponding tasks to ensure that the project continues to develop with the utmost commitment and professionalism.

Due to this situation, the 8th edition of the Dramaturgy and Scenic Writing Exchange Days, originally scheduled for December 18–20, will not take place this year. This decision has been difficult, but necessary to adjust to the current circumstances.

We trust that the administrative procedures will be resolved favorably and as quickly as possible, allowing us to return to normal operations. We appreciate the understanding and support of the entire circus community during these uncertain times.
