Circus and Dance Laboratory

In 2016, La Central del Circ and Mercat de les Flors decided to partner within the framework of the ‘Circus d’Ara Mateix’ cycle, organized by the latter entity, and jointly offer training cycles and laboratories to deepen the points in common between dance and circus. Since then, a lab has been held every two years.

In past editions we have collaborated with the artists Peter Jasko, Alessandro Sciaroni, Roberto Olivan, Jean-Michel Guy, Mauro Paccagnella, Florent Bergal, Roberto Magro and Blai Mateu (2016), Jean-Michel Guy and Volmir Cordeiro (2018), Marta Galán, Sergi Parés, Aina Alegre, Marc Dalmau and Txalo Toloza (Cos i Territori, 2020) and François Juliot and Thomas Hauert (2022).
