La 3a  trobada ‘El circ d’avui’, que tindrà lloc divendres 11 d’abril, de 16h a 19h, a La Central del Circ, és un espai de trobada per reflexionar sobre el paper de l’arxiu en el circ contemporani i la seva rellevància en un món saturat d’informació. Ens preguntarem quina memòria volem preservar i què és el que realment necessita ser arxivat per garantir que el patrimoni circense romangui viu i accessible.

The 4th meeting, ‘Circus Artists and Dissidences’, will take place on Wednesday, April 24 at 6 p.m. at the Konvent, Cal Rosal (Berguedà), as part of the Kontrast Festival. It will focus on gender and sexual diversity, aiming to give voice to women and dissident (LGBTIQ+) artists within the circus world. We propose an intergenerational dialogue space where the body is reclaimed as a political tool, and where the need for a gender perspective in constructing circus narratives is emphasized.

Online roundtable on circus dramaturgy will take place as part of P.O.N.T_CIRK. This initiative, led by the International Contemporary Circus Market (MICC), Fira Trapezi and La Central del Circ, aims to question, rethink, and strengthen the language of contemporary circus between Catalonia and Quebec, establishing a creative bridge between the two regions.

Presentation of the works in progress by emerging artists who have participated in the scenic creation laboratories conducted during the 2025–2026 period, within the framework of the 360º Support Circuit initiative, led by Anna Pascual, Marta Torrents, and Roberto Magro.

La Central del Circ hosts the presentation of the participatory research project 1000 Faces, by the German circus and dance company Overhead Project, within the framework of MERIDIAN(s) Catalonia–Germany 2026, part of the internationalization measure of the Catalonia Circus Promotion Plan (2023–2026).
