Resolution of the call for applications for the Trànsits Residencies 2025 and the ‘Beques Barcelona Crea – Fàbriques de Creació’

On December 3rd and 4th, the selection committee for Trànsits 2025 at La Central del Circ made the selection of the proposals that will be part of the Trànsits Research and Creation program for 2025, as well as the ‘Beques Barcelona Crea – Fàbriques de Creació’.

A total of 128 projects were submitted in the 4 categories (Creation, Research, T.E.S.T.! and Community Creation), and 9 were selected. The selected proposals are as follows:

Selection Committee for Trànsits 2025

This selection was carried out by the selection committee for Trànsits 2025, which is made up of the Artistic Council of La Central del Circ, including Chiara Marchese, circus artist of the WoW Compagnie; Sandra Arisa, coordinator of the Centre for Arts in Movement at Roca Umbert; and Alejandro Dutra, artist of the company OLGA_ cirqAnalogique. In this call, Adrià Montanya, artist of the company PSIRC and also a member of the Artistic Council of La Central del Circ, and Víctor Bobadilla, artistic coordinator of La Central del Circ, were unable to be present. The selection committee for Trànsits also included the participation of artist Elena Zanzu and the project manager for creation at La Central del Circ, Daphné Malherbe. In the “Community Creation” category, the head of mediation projects at La Central del Circ, Esther Blázquez, also took part in the selection. The committee met over two days to assess each proposal.
