Resolution of the second call for Trànsits 2026 and “Barcelona Crea Grants – Creation Factories”

Last Monday, January 12, the Trànsits 2026 selection committee of La Central del Circ carried out the evaluation and selection of the proposals submitted to the second call of the Trànsits Research and Creation 2026 program and the Barcelona Crea Grants – Creation Factories.

A total of 34 projects were submitted across the two categories (Research and Crossings, and Thought), and 3 were selected. The selected proposals are as follows:

“Con placer querida / complacer qué herida”, by Ginés Belchí Gabarrón – Crossing Residences with Arts Printing House (Lituania)

Trànsits 2026 Selection Committee

This selection was carried out by the Trànsits 2026 selection committee, made up of the artists Silvia Capell, Judit Obach, Mireia Sala, and Gastón Sánchez, who worked together with the artistic direction and coordination team of La Central del Circ, composed of Joan Ramon Graell (artistic direction and coordination), Daphné Malherbe (research and crossings), and Pablo P. Becerra (thought). The committee met over two days to assess each of the proposals.
