P.O.N.T_CIRK: A creative bridge between Quebec and Catalonia to rethink the dramaturgy of contemporary circus

On Monday, April 28, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., a unique international gathering will take place, aimed at strengthening ties between creators from Quebec and Catalonia.
This first edition is conceived as a space for dialogue to explore new perspectives on the dramaturgy of contemporary circus through presentations, exchanges, and shared reflections.

With the goal of fostering collaboration, generating new alliances, and enriching circus creation processes, the event will bring together three prominent figures from Quebec’s performing arts scene:

• Les 7 Doigts de la Main

• Machine de Cirque

• Ricard Soler Maillol

The session will be moderated by Víctor Bobadilla, artistic director of La Central del Circ, who will guide the conversation around the various methodologies, contexts, and challenges that artists face in their creative processes—especially in the context of touring.

P.O.N.T_CIRK presents a unique opportunity to question, rethink, and strengthen the language of contemporary circus through the diversity of two profoundly creative territories.

Free and online activity for members of MICC, La Central del Circ, APCC, students from the Centre de les Arts del Circ Rogelio Rivel, Ateneu Popular 9 Barris, and the École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal.
