La Central del Circ hosts the presentation of the participatory research project 1000 Faces, by the German circus and dance company Overhead Project, within the framework of MERIDIAN(s) Catalonia–Germany 2026, part of the internationalization measure of the Catalonia Circus Promotion Plan (2023–2026).

The work-in-progress showing will take place next Wednesday, April 15, from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm outdoors at La Central del Circ.

How many people does it take to carry a body? 1000 Faces is a participatory research project that places the audience at the center of the action. In an outdoor performance space, participants are invited to engage physically—to be carried, to support others, to let go of control and, at the same time, to take responsibility. Through spontaneous collaboration, personal experience, and collective intelligence, an open space emerges in which the boundaries between audience and performance are constantly redefined.

The German circus and dance company Overhead Project has more than 18 years of experience and also organizes the CircusDance Festival in Cologne every year.
