The team of the Arxiu Viu de Circ has selected the project submitted by Nubilum and Edittio for the creation of its website

The team of the Arxiu Viu de Circ, within the framework of the Pla d’Impuls del Circ (2023-2026), has selected the project jointly submitted by Nubilum and Edittio for the creation of its website, from among the four proposals submitted by invited providers.

The decision was based on the attractiveness of the design, the proposed interfaces, and the options for displaying content, as well as the experience of the team responsible for the digital archives of Teatre Lliure (https://arxiu.teatrelliure.com/) and Arquitectura Catalana (https://www.arquitecturacatalana.cat/). Furthermore, Nubilum and Edittio have their own repository, Coeli, already developed and tested, which they will make available to the Arxiu Viu de Circ. This will help speed up the initial implementation phase and begin incorporating digital heritage elements into the Archive in the coming months.

Arxiu Viu de Circ

The Arxiu Viu de Circ is one of the 15 measures that make up the 2nd Pla d’Impuls del Circ (2023-2026) and is led by La Central del Circ. This measure aims to strengthen circus research through the creation of a digital archive and the generation of spaces for reflection on circus. The project seeks to collect and organize the circus heritage of Catalonia to preserve its artistic value, provide a documentation space that allows broader access to existing materials, and promote a meeting and collaboration place for artists, creators, and researchers.
