Collective training sessions: from April 15 to June 17, led by Lucha Emilia

Next term, from April 15 to June 17, the collective training sessions will take place on Wednesdays, from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m., led by circus artist Lucha Emilia.

Trained in dance, circus arts, clowning, and buffoonery, Emilia works in creation, performance, teaching, and motherhood. In her ongoing search for movement and play, she continues to train in dancehall, reggaeton, as well as in buffoonery and tai chi, constantly inventing new creative projects that allow expression through feminism and provocation.

Over the course of three months, we will explore different ways to warm up, sweat, and release the body with pleasure and laughter, playing with sensuality and the ridiculous. We will move from Zumba to perreo, from active meditation to CrossFit, experimenting with multiple forms of movement.

The collective training sessions offer a weekly meeting space in the Training Room, where the artistic community can practice together, exchange methodologies, and discover techniques for warming up and taking care of the body.

Each term, the practice is led by an artist from the La Central del Circ community, bringing new perspectives and exercises.

No prior registration is required, and the sessions are free for APCC members and artists with a valid training subscription at La Central del Circ. Non-members can also participate by paying the daily training fee.
