Open call for the 2027 edition of Circusnext

The European program Circusnext has launched a new call for projects to identify and support emerging circus creators across Europe. Its main goal is to nurture and stimulate the development of new generations of creative spirits in the circus sector, encouraging them to experiment and challenge current artistic boundaries. This open call is aimed at emerging artists who are currently developing a new circus creation.

Who can apply?

• Emerging circus creators of all disciplines, with no age limit.

• Projects currently in development, not premiered before September 2027.

• With a first or second creation in France, Belgium, or the Netherlands.

• With a first, second, or third creation in other countries of the Creative Europe program and Switzerland.

The program offers selected projects financial support, creation and presentation support, participation in various laboratories, communication assistance, and networking opportunities across Europe.

Circusnext is a dissemination platform led by the French association Jeunes Talents Cirque Europe (JTCE), aimed at giving visibility to contemporary circus and creating a European exhibition circuit. La Central del Circ has been a member since November 2019, with the goal of promoting Catalan companies, strengthening connections within the European professional network, and staying in touch with new circus languages.
