La Central del Circ, a partner of the circus and gender project Speak Out

La Central del Circ is now a partner of SPEAK OUT – together for a safer circus (2023-2024). The project aims at preventing all kinds of discrimination and gender-based violence in the circus and street arts sector, by supporting its core organisations (schools, festivals, companies…).

The objective is to foster physically, psychologically and emotionally safe educational and work spaces. SPEAK OUT will raise awareness among circus stakeholders about abusive conducts, and will collect, develop and disseminate tools & resources to help the sector evolve in a sustainable and structural way, towards more equity and integrity.

In order to attain these goals, are organized some meetings, lectures, workshops and seminars.

SPEAK OUT is a project led by the European Federation of Professional Circus Schools (FEDEC) in partnership with JUMP – Solutions for equality at work.
