XECC

La Central del Circ collaborates with the  Xarxa d’Espais de Circ de Catalunya (Network of Circus Spaces in Catalonia – XECC) through which, among other things, it has been possible to provide communal use of some materials and equipment. XECC is a network of public and private spaces which offer resources to create, entertain, train, produce, exhibit or disseminate circus with the goal of extending and promoting this performing art.

XECC is formed by 27 spaces from all parts of Catalonia:

– Espai de Circ Cronopis (Mataró)

– Escola de Teatre i Circ d’Amposta (Amposta)

– Espai 3 Temps (Barcelona)

XECC is supported by the Associació de Professionals de Circ de Catalunya (Association of Circus Professionals of Catalonia – APCC).

The goals of XECC are to make the network of circus spaces more visible and to achieve greater recognition of the task that they do, facilitate communication between all the members, share and optimize resources, and search for common solutions to the problems specific to circus spaces with the intention of providing stability for projects.
